Hello.
I'm Beth Dooner and I'm an illustrator currently based in Yorkshire. I primarily use traditional media such as watercolour, gouache, and pencil crayons. I come from a photography background and use my skills in composition and capturing a moment in the much slower medium of illustration.
Through my work I intend to capture the character of a place and the energy of a person. I celebrate life in my work through optimistic and whimsical pieces. I am inspired by core memories from my childhood and the escapism I sometimes needed, which I have always wanted to keep into my adult life.
